World Leader College

The role and powers entrusted to the institution

Recognising excellence, honouring achievement, passing on the legacy

The World Leaders College International has an institutional mandate covering the identification, evaluation, recognition and preservation of contributions that meet its criteria of merit, impact and accountability.

Its work is organised around four complementary functions:

Recognising

The World Leaders College International identifies and evaluates career paths, bodies of work and achievements whose scope meets its institutional criteria of merit, impact and accountability.

Honour

The World Leaders College International confers upon the selected individuals a distinction commensurate with the significance of their contribution and formalises this recognition through the corresponding institutional and ceremonial acts.

Preserve

The World Leaders College International authenticates the honours awarded, ensures their registration and preserves the constituent elements of each honour within its honorary and documentary heritage.

Transmit

The World Leaders College International documents the honoured individuals’ life stories, highlights the lessons to be learnt from their achievements, and ensures that their legacy is passed on to institutions, societies and future generations.

Powers and Privileges

What the College is authorised to do

The College examines the proposals submitted to it, assesses the merits put forward, awards the honours and keeps a record of them. Each honour conferred is set out in an institutional act which defines its scope.
