World Leaders College International upholds integrity as the cardinal principle underpinning all appointments and honours. It governs the assessment of contributions, the propriety of honours bestowed, and the enduring moral authority associated with the distinctions conferred.
Proposals are examined with independence, impartiality and discernment. No influence, relationship or consideration unrelated to merit may take precedence over the value of the work under assessment. Any situation likely to compromise the required objectivity is dealt with in accordance with the College’s institutional requirements.
Recognition is based on sufficiently established facts, documented achievements and verifiable sources. The rigour of the assessment protects the College against inaccurate representations, insufficiently substantiated merits and any honour that cannot be fully upheld.
The confidentiality of the proceedings safeguards the freedom of assessment, the dignity of the individuals under consideration and the independence of the deliberations. The traceability of proceedings, for its part, establishes the institutional continuity of the decision and guarantees the integrity of every honour recorded in the College’s history.
